Is Internet Marketing really worth the Money?
Learn the truth about Internet Marketing for Small Businesses and discover the best places to spend your money. Find out how traditional marketing can be more cost effective than Internet Marketing.
Hi! Most of my life, I’ve been the employer, not the employee. I, like most business owners, have a different perspective on the “value a service” and what it provides to the business. I don’t need a salesperson to ‘sell’ me. I like most small business ownners, have limited resources, and need to be judicious in allocating our time and resources. And with all the different Internet strategies flying around; Seo, Local Seo, Backlinks, Adwords, Publicity, etc. it’s hard to know where to spend your money and on what.
That’s why I wrote this Local SEO Guide. It is a no nonsense approach to evaluating:
- What Local SEO will do for your Business.
- How much should Local SEO will cost to get a top ranking, and the many factors that need to happen in order to get a top ranking.
- Are there are there better ways to marketing your business. Does the ongoing cost justify the expense.
- Understanding the whole internet marketing process, not just Local SEO.
Internet Marketing can be an amazing way to get your business found. But I believe, You, the business owner, need take the time to learn the technology and the processes. You should make a conscious effort NOT to be one of the millions of businesses, who don’t understand what the internet can do for them. Your business will remain dormant on page 3, 4, 5, 6……(and of course, who goes to those pages.)
This course will give the fundamentals to evaluate, test, use tools, and bonuses information to get a better understanding of how Internet Marketing can serve your business.
I am truly a “Geek”. I love understanding how something works. Why it works. How it works. How much it costs. What the value is. I think in debits and credits. This course will give you the knowledge to make an informed decision.
My career and introduction to technology started as an Accountant for Intel in Arizona. .Soon after, I moved to the San Francisco Bay area, and spend close to 20 years in Silicon Valley where I sold IT consultants to technology companies. It was exciting, interesting, and amazing to be a part of the emerging technologies and the applications.
My career evolved into owning my own successful business. In 1996, my company plunged into the SAP technology and grew to 8 million within a year. With the emergence of the internet, my business needed to ‘get visible’. Our first website cost over $65,000. And we didn’t get many visitors. Ugh. I know what it’s like to spend and not get the value you’re looking for.
I began learning the technology and applying it to our business. This lead to formation of Geeks Marketing and a love affair that continues to this day; technology, the internet, and the amazing applications that make businesses more productive.
I encourage you to take the time, and spend 10 minutes a day. You’ll be surprised how much you can learn in the next 7 days!
